La carrera y discografía de este grupo no es muy extensa, ya que duró poco más de una década, por lo que no es tan abundante su repertorio de canciones, sin embargo, es uno de los grupos más legendarios de rock. En resumen, Led Zeppelin tiene 8 discos de estudio: los primeros 4, Houses of the Holy, el álbum doble Physical Graffiti, Presence, In Through the Out Door y el póstumo Coda (considerado una recopilación antológica, pero como la mayoría de las canciones son inéditas, se puede tomar como el último). Sumado a esto, los álbumes en vivo del grupo, la mitad, tienen película: The Song Remains the Same (en el Madison Square Garden en 1973) y Celebration Day (reunión con el hijo de John Bonham en 2007), siendo BBC Sessions (sesiones en la BBC entre 1969 y 1971) y How the West Was Won (gira norteamericana de 1972) los que sólo existen en audio.
